NBTA offers three main Membership Types:

Allied Members are travel industry suppliers including government contractors from every facet of the industry with a service or product to sell to Direct or GTG Direct members.

Direct Members are corporate travel professionals/buyers who procure business travel services for employees of the organization by negotiating w/ Allied members and who administer travel policy within their organization.

Government Travel Group (GTG) Members are individuals employed by a federal or state government to procure and manage business travel services/systems for employees of federal or state government entity, or promulgate and administer travel policies/programs for a federal or state entity.
